TRIANGLE EVENTS: THE MUSIC MAN; SAVING GRACE WALK; CASINO NIGHT & SILENT AUCTION
Each weekend brings many different options of Triangle events to participate in – from music to dance to art to theatre to outdoor events. Below are a few we found to have fun out and about in the community this weekend – two of which even support great causes.
The Music Man: Thursday, November 12th – Sunday, November 15th
William Peace Theatre presents The Music Man, a well-loved, well-known musical featuring smooth-talking con man, Harold Hill. Harold, while trying to weasel his way into the pockets of the citizens of River City, offers to save the town from sure chaos by establishing a boy’s band. However, what he fails to share is his inability to even distinguish a guitar from a pipe organ! Will the town librarian, Marian Paroo, succeed in exposing his tricks or will Harold be the one who will find himself caring about more than just River City’s money?
