On Monday, September 19, less than a mile from Access Office Business Center’s Glenwood Avenue location, the Brier Creek Country Club will be reconvening their monthly Entrepreneur Series with a focus on software as a service (SaaS). The event is titled Entrepreneur Series: Building a SaaS Company from Funding through IPO. If you are unfamiliar with the BCCC Entrepreneur Series, it is held once a month and is an opportunity for local Triangle professionals to network and learn from other successful entrepreneurs and business leaders in their field. This month’s event will consist of a presentation about software as a service (SaaS) trends followed by two panel discussions that will focus on local SaaS entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the industry.

One of the featured guests on the SaaS entrepreneur panel is Joe Colopy, CEO of Bronto. Bronto is a leading software company based in Durham, NC that provides a multi-channel platform for retailers. Triangle Business Journal recently named Bronto as one of the Best Places to Work in the Triangle. At the end of August, TBJ revealed 35 businesses as the winners of this prestigious award. The selected organizations will be honored at an awards event held at the Embassy Suites in Cary on October 7th.
