This weekend is packed with local events celebrating many different cultures – fun for all ages throughout the Triangle!
This weekend is a fantastically busy one with local events for all ages and interests including SPARKcon, Raleigh’s annual festival of creativity; the excellent Paperhand Puppet Intervention show at the NC Museum of Art, an enchanted spectacle for all ages; and, for the first time, the annual Farm Aid concert benefiting family farmers.
While all of the M.A.I.N. events are equally worth attending, these are a few that will be of particular interest to entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small business owners: Forward Triangle, Innovate Raleigh Summit, Datapalooza, and the CED Tech Venture Conference.
Summer is winding down and schools are starting back up but there are still things to celebrate in the local events scene of Raleigh! Creative Mornings is a great way to jump-start your Friday morning and hear some incredible stories. And if you’re looking to experience a taste of the emerging craft brewing scene, Raleigh Beer Week has some great events planned until August 31st. Or if you’re thinking it’s time to re-connect with the local community and meet others interested in making the city of Raleigh the best it can be, the Innovate Raleigh Summit may be a great opportunity for you.
The Summer may be winding down but the plethora of local events is not – check out these great happenings featuring bluegrass, beer, and local shopping: Pickin’ in the Plaza, Pop Shop, and the Hops and Shop Market.
Enjoy Summer Silliness and great shopping at these Local Raleigh events: Wipe Out at Logan’s, Sharknado movie showing, Cameron Village Sidewalk Sale!
Summer can be grossly hot and sticky but it is also the perfect time to head outside in the evening and enjoy some great events in the region. This coming week offers a couple free local options in downtown Raleigh – the PNC Downtown Movie Series and Oak City 7 Concerts.
