TRIANGLE EVENTS: GUYS AND DOLLS; CHATHAM STREET CHOWDOWN; POP-UP SUNDAY MARKET

Go back in time with a couple Triangle events this weekend - the play Guys and Dolls, based in 1930s NYC and a Vintage Pop Up Market featuring a variety of vendors. Or if you'd rather enjoy some of the more modern inventions like food trucks, check out the Chatham Street Chowdown, which features local musicians too.

TRIANGLE EVENTS: YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK; PORK OUT; CAROLINA MUSIC AWARDS

North Carolina is well known for a fantastic music and BBQ scene and there are quite often great Triangle events going on to celebrate both of those. This weekend you should check out the Lafayette Village Pork Out and the Carolina Music Awards. But in addition to wonderful music and food, this area has a wealth of resources for young professionals too, including the Young Professionals Network. Check out their event all about managing change happening tomorrow, Thursday, July 16th.

TRIANGLE EVENTS: LEGAL MATTERS FOR SMALL BIZ OWNERS, THE DINNER DETECTIVE, COMMUNITY MURAL PROJECT

After the excitement of celebrating Independence Day last weekend, the week and this coming weekend are relatively calm in terms of Triangle area events. Enjoy the downtime and catch up on business stuff, do something new for dinner and go to the Dinner Detective, or add your creative finesse to a community mural.

Cool off with some bourbon and beer while supporting the Helping Hand Mission at Carolina Ale House; show off your brain power at Trivia Night with the Triangle Literacy Council; and if you know an aspiring baseball player or coach make sure they check out the Tournament of Stars. Check out our synopses of some upcoming Triangle events.
