April may be NC Beer Month but there’s something for wine lovers this weekend too! The Great Grapes Wine and Food Festival happens this Saturday, April 12th, at the Cary Koka Booth Amphitheatre. From 11am – 7pm you can enjoy 220 different wines from 20 different wineries, great live music, and food and crafts.
Advance tickets are $26 for regular attendees, $20 for a designated driver pass, and $39 for VIP admission and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Spirit of Hope Children’s Foundation. Enjoy the beautiful natural atmosphere of Koka Booth while sampling specialties like olive oil, salts, and spices. VIP admission includes exclusive access to specialty pavilions such as the cheese sampling board area. There is also a kid’s area and kids 12 and under are free. A full schedule of bands, participating wineries, and ticket information is listed online.
This weekend’s weather looks to be a fabulous spring day and sipping great wine among the trees and relaxing to live music is a great way to celebrate!
