Craving a new outfit? Looking for a gift? Want to start back-to-school shopping early? The next couple of weekends offer some great local shopping at lower-than-normal prices – check out our summaries below!
The annual Cameron Village Sidewalk Sale is happening this weekend, July 12 – 14. Cameron Village is the area’s oldest shopping area and is well-known for its selection of specialty shops and one-of-a-kind retailers. The sale features special merchandise and customer appreciation opportunities. Many merchants are offering great specials and incentives, quite a few of which are listed on the website and the Cameron Village Shopping Center Facebook page. Hours are 10am – 6pm Friday and Saturday, and 1 – 6pm on Sunday.
Shop Local Raleigh Boutique Blowout
An inaugural event, the Boutique Blowout on July 19 – 20 will feature local stores selling deeply discounted inventory all in one place. Hosted by Shop Local Raleigh, an organization focused on promoting and supporting locally-owned, independent businesses, the event will be held at the Hampton Inn at Crabtree Valley Mall. A list of participating boutiques can be found online and inventory will be 30 – 75% off retail! The event also has a VIP night the Friday before from 5-8pm for $10. VIPs get first dibs on clearance items and a goody bag but admission is limited to 250 attendees. On Saturday July 20, the Boutique Blowout will be free and open to all from 10am – 5pm.
