Sometimes it's worth it to get out of the Triangle and explore other nearby events! This weekend offers some great options, from the Brew ‘n’ Choo event at New Hope Valley Railway to the classic love story Carousel to a 5k run benefiting Nepal.

Go back in time with a couple Triangle events this weekend - the play Guys and Dolls, based in 1930s NYC and a Vintage Pop Up Market featuring a variety of vendors. Here are three upcoming Triangle activities that we're looking forward to: pick up some fresh fruit and veggies at the Farmer's Market and a baby plant from nüvonivo this Wednesday; celebrate bikes with beer and other bemusements at Tour de Fat on Saturday; and honor fathers and the summer solstice with an ice cream party at the beautiful J. C. Raulston Arboretum on Sunday.

Not all the fun happens on the weekends - two of the things this area is most well known for combine weekly on Tuesdays for Beer and Banjos: a night of lively bluegrass music at a local Irish pub.
