TRIANGLE EVENTS: INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS!
Our nation is turning 239 on July 4, 2015 and there are many exciting Triangle events available to attend and celebrate!
TRIANGLE EVENTS: TRIANGLE LITERACY COUNCIL TRIVIA NIGHT; USA BASEBALL TOURNAMENT OF STARS; THE SPIRITED PIG SUMMER SHINDIG
It's officially summer and it feels like it! Cool off with some bourbon and beer while supporting the Helping Hand Mission at Carolina Ale House; show off your brain power at Trivia Night with the Triangle Literacy Council; and if you know an aspiring baseball player or coach make sure they check out the Tournament of Stars. Check out our synopses of some upcoming Triangle events.
TRIANGLE EVENTS: PLANT-A-SEED, TOUR DE FAT: DURHAM, SUMMER SOLSTICE ICE CREAM PARTY
Here are three upcoming Triangle activities that we're looking forward to: pick up some fresh fruit and veggies at the Farmer's Market and a baby plant from nüvonivo this Wednesday; celebrate bikes with beer and other bemusements at Tour de Fat on Saturday; and honor fathers and the summer solstice with an ice cream party at the beautiful J. C. Raulston Arboretum on Sunday.
Triangle Events: Beer and Banjos, Good Friday Choral Service, Easter Egg Hunt
Not all the fun happens on the weekends - two of the things this area is most well known for combine weekly on Tuesdays for Beer and Banjos: a night of lively bluegrass music at a local Irish pub. And this coming weekend many people in the area will be celebrating Easter - enjoy the holiday with an evening of choral music or an Easter egg hunt with fun for the whole family.
Triangle Events: Geeks N Taps, Beer and Bacon Fest, Lonerider Showdown
Although April is technically NC Beer month, March has plenty of Triangle event options for those wanting to enjoy some brews – from the geeky to the savory to specialty casks - check out Geeks N Taps, Beer and Bacon Fest, and the Lonerider Showdown.
