Bark in the Park: Wednesday, May 6th
If you and your 4-legged companion enjoy the Triangle tradition of Durham Bulls baseball, you don’t want to miss Bark in the Park! This event invites locals to bring their dogs along to enjoy the game and interact with other pups. Held at the Durham Bulls baseball game on Wednesday, May 6th, Bark in the Park is a great opportunity for those who love to meet new friends, furry or otherwise. Two special ticket options are available for this event; $11.99 will get you a seat in the designated Bark in the Park area to enjoy the game. For $25, in addition to your Bark in the Park access, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an all-you-can-eat picnic buffet filled with hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, chips and dip, and unlimited Pepsi products from 6pm-8pm. $5 of every ticket purchase will go to our friends at Second Chance Adoptions. The (Almost) Totally True Story of Hansel and Gretel: May 8, 9, 15 and 16
If you think you know the story of Hansel and Gretel…think again! The Forest Moon Theater presents this family friendly production of The (Almost) Totally True Story of Hansel and Gretel held on May 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th at the Wake Forest Renaissance Center. Accused of committing crimes against the fairy tale creatures of the forest, Hansel and Gretel must convince Streptococcus, their fairy godmother, of their innocence. Forest Moon Theater reveals the shocking account of what may have incurred during these two young ones’ trek through the woods. Relay Foods Local Pop-Up Food Market: Saturday, May 9th
Held at the Raleigh Brewing Company and hosted by Relay Foods, this event showcases the best local food that the Triangle has to offer! Come out and browse through many local food producers and their tasty creations while enjoying live music and fun games for the kids. BO’s Kitchen food truck will also be there to provide you with delicious Korean fare. Some of the vendors include:
