TRIANGLE EVENTS: FAIL FEST, GOT TO BE NC FESTIVAL, ARTSPLOSURE

Learning from your mistakes is a huge part of business success – hear some great stories at Fail Fest this Wednesday. And save time this weekend to visit both the Got to Be NC Festival highlighting some of the best of NC’s agricultural heritage, and Artsplosure, the downtown Raleigh arts festival featuring over 180 artisans in 10 different categories.
Fail Fest: Wednesday, May 13th
Who wants to admit they messed up? It’s time to change that perception. Fail Fest celebrates the role failure plays in moving companies and communities forward. Held at the William Cozart Warehouse in the Warehouse District, this day-long conference event offers attendees the chance to hear stories of failure and how successful business men and women turned their sour experiences into helpful opportunities. Speakers include Jessie Williams, Owen Jordan, Sean Maroni, Paul Miller, Dawn Daria, and more. Arrive at 8:30 a.m. for a talk about helpful resources for entrepreneurs! Got To Be NC Festival: Friday, May 15th – Sunday, May 17th
Get ready for three great days of down-home celebration North Carolina-style at the 2015 Got to Be NC Festival held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. This three day event, a production of the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, offers a wealth of opportunities to experience and appreciate local vendors, homegrown fare, and more. Artsplosure – The Raleigh Arts Festival: Friday, May 15th – Sunday, May 17th
Artsplosure, celebrating its 36th anniversary, is one of the Southeast’s premier arts festivals attracting more than 80,000 people to downtown Raleigh during the third weekend in May every year. This event, peppered with art exhibits of all kinds, will be held on Fayetteville Street and Moore Square in downtown Raleigh. Every aspect of the festival is curated with an eye toward presenting quality art and a healthy dose of the unexpected, balancing critically acclaimed national artists with some of N.C.’s best performing and visual artists.
