TRIANGLE EVENTS: INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF RALEIGH; ENO RIVER RACE; DOWNTOWN FOOD TRUCK RODEO
This coming weekend is full of Triangle events of many flavors – from the annual International Festival to the Eno River Run to a Downtown Food Truck Rodeo, just to name a few. Enjoy the many different things the Triangle community has to offer at these three events.
30th International Festival of Raleigh: October 9 – 11
The International Festival of Raleigh is celebrating culture by offering a three day event 30 years in the making! Held at the Raleigh Convention Center and offered by International Focus of Raleigh, this festival is made possible by many groups who have come together to support diversity and represent their country. Some of the many fun and educational activities include:
An art contest with pieces submitted by students from Wake County Public Schools
A talent show to encourage young children to share their special talent and gain self-confidence
An international fashion show to showcase apparel from all over the world and offer an educational experience
“A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words”: Take a look at pictures from 30 years of the International Festival
Delicious food
Exciting dance competitions
And more!

4th Annual Eno River Run: Saturday, October 10th – 8am-1pm
Ready for an adventure? Join the fun at the 4th annual Eno River Run! Participants can choose from an 11-mile or 6-mile course with both individual and team (5 or more) categories. Both courses will start and finish at the Piper Cox House and participants are encouraged to stay after crossing the finish line for a post-race celebration full of food, fun and live music. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers as well as the top finishers in each age group.

Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo: Sunday, October 11th – 1pm-6pm
Come hungry and leave satisfied at the last Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo of the year! Over 50 food trucks stretching across a ½ mile of Fayetteville St. will be available to fulfill your every craving. From the sweet to the savory and everything in between, you’ll have your palate’s pick! Some of the delicious options include:
