Nothing says “Christmas” quite like the festive and meaningful songs that fill the air. Take a look at a few Triangle area events that are sure to get you humming those Christmas tunes!
A Celtic Christmas: Tuesday, December 15th – 7pm
Join the RiverDance band at The Cary Theater on Tuesday, December 15th beginning at 7pm to enjoy an evening of beautiful Celtic Christmas music, stories, and songs presented in an “intimate yet lively production”.
Cost: $22-$24
Carols of Christmas: Friday, December 18th – 7:30pm
The Raleigh Boychoir will present its 46th annual Carols of Christmas Concert at Edenton Street United Methodist Church on Friday, December 18th at 7:30pm. The concert will feature classic Christmas selections and many treasured standards from the choir’s longstanding repertoire.
Cost: This is a free event; however, tickets must be reserved in advance. Donations appreciated.
The Nutcracker: Friday, December 18th – Sunday, December 27th
The Nutcracker is a delight for all ages. Presented by Carolina Ballet’s world class dancers, it will not cease to amaze you and leave you wondering “How did they do that?” Join in the fun at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium!

Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical – Friday – Sunday, December 18th – 20th
Laugh along with Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical performed by the North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre. This hilariously unique Christmas musical features a spin on your favorite Christmas songs such as “Twelve Days Prior to Christmas”, “Santa Ain’t Coming To Our House”, and “We Three Kings of Orient Are Us”. You’ll also enjoy a Secret Santa, and an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet.

The Light of Christmas: Saturday, December 19th – Sunday, December 20th
Enjoy The Light of Christmas, a Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th at Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh. Enjoy a festive atmosphere, beautiful music (both traditional and non-traditional) and free coffee, hot chocolate, and delicious treats.
