Meet in the Street Festival: May 2nd
If you’re inclined to visit beyond the Triangle, the 35th Annual Meet in the Street Festival, presented by the Wake Forest area Chamber of Commerce, is planned for Saturday, May 2nd starting at 10am. Come prepared for a day of exciting events such as live music, delicious food, stimulating children’s activities, and dozens of artisans’ booths featuring handcrafted arts and crafts. Included in the festivities will also be a Beer Garden provided by White Street Brewing Company, an interactive trailer provided by Coca-Cola and Carolina Parent Magazine, a Children’s Village provided by the Goddard School of Wake Forest, a Bike Safety Fair provided by the town of Wake Forest, and an obstacle course and fire truck tour provided by the Wake Forest Fire Department.
