Triangle events – St Patrick’s Day, Pop-Up Market, and Free Coffee Sunday
March is finally here and spring seems to be just around the corner! Enjoy the warmer weather with some great local Triangle events – St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, a Pop-up Market, and Free Coffee Sunday!
WRAL’s Out and About page has a good list of some St. Patrick’s Day events kicking off this weekend – including the Raleigh annual parade and festival, a celebration on Glenwood South, Tir Na Nog’s street and pub party, and a bar crawl. With this many events, you can find one for the family and one for just the adults. May the luck of the Irish be with you and don’t forget to wear green!
This Saturday, March 14th, Sola Coffee Café off Lead Mine Rd will host a 2nd Saturday Pop-Up Market. Sola’s mindset is ‘Fresh. Global. Social.’ and they’ve been ‘walking the talk’ by hosting pop-up markets featuring local makers. This Saturday’s event features about a dozen local artisans selling their handcrafted goods. The event is from 9am – 1pm and is free and open to the public.
